Velvet Edge Salon & Barbershop ("Velvet Edge", "we", "us"), operated by Black Rhino Lounge Pty Ltd (Reg. No. 2022/823178/07), is a salon and barbershop located at Shop A5, Wierda Mall, Chris Hougaard Street, Wierdapark, Centurion, Pretoria. This policy explains how we handle personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

2. Information we collect

When you make a booking or contact us, we collect only what we need:

• Your full name
• Your mobile number and email address
• Your chosen service, preferred date, time and staff preference
• Any notes you choose to share with us about your appointment

3. How we use your information

• To schedule, confirm, reschedule or cancel your appointment
• To contact you about your booking via phone, WhatsApp or email
• To improve our services and the client experience

We do not sell your information or share it with third parties for marketing.

4. WhatsApp and email bookings

If you choose to send your booking via WhatsApp or email, the message is composed on your own device and delivered through those services. Their own privacy policies apply to that transmission.

5. Storage and security

Booking details are stored securely on our cloud platform with access limited to authorised staff. We retain booking records only as long as needed to manage your appointments and meet legal obligations, after which they are deleted.

6. Third-party services

Our contact page embeds Google Maps to help you find us. Google may collect usage data according to its own privacy policy when you interact with the map.

7. Your rights
